Movies in Review: "RED"

Ho Hum...is all I can really say. It started off extra slow, with the first 20 min following the day and events of Bruce Willis's character's retired life...boring. And can I just say that Bruce Willis is starting to become a very monotone actor. There was really no inflection in is acting, and he was the main character...eh. There were a number of scenes with shooting, just for the sake of having bullets and guns in the film, it seems just so they could call it an action film, but true action it was lacking. And the story was very weak. Something about a reporter, and Guatemala...SMH...dumb. Morgan Freeman looked like he needed a wheel chair...SMH. The only great thing about this film was John Malkovich. He was excellent. His expressions were the best and on point even when the camera was not focused on him...Love him. Soooooo...all in all RED really stands for Really Extremely Dull...C- rating (and that's being generous because I really enjoyed Malkovich).
