Movies in Review: "Trust"

This film was directed and produced by David Schwimmer (remember him from "Friends"). Well he did a great job with this film. This film is not for the faint of heart, because it deals with very serious subject matter "adult men who prey on young girls"...smh. The film takes you through all aspects of the situation. You meet a young teenage girl full of life, who has a "relationship" with a guy named "Charlie" who she has met in a chat room online. Throughout the movie the text/chat messages are flashing across the screen, and you can see how the 2 month chatting relationship progresses.

After the assault you feel the turmoil the parents go through, especially Clive Owen's character "Annie's father". You feel what the teenage girl is going through in her head and struggle to come to terms with the situation...its all deep. The subject is enough to wanna slap every dirty old man you see looking at a young girl...smh. The final scene in this movie will make you wanna kill him...(of course that could be just me...lol) Great great film. I recommend anyone with a teenage daughter take her to see this film, and be prepared for a strong heart to heart after...A+!
