Movies in Review: "Movie 43"

I have to tell you that I had more interest in seeing this movie than I did to see Hansel & Gretel. Sounds a little crazy right? Well the trailer looked so crazy for this movie that I had to see how it played out. The trailer for Hansel & Gretel looked like it would be a theatrical disappointment. Well...needless to say, I left the theatre for Movie 43 feeling like I had made the wrong choice...smh

This movie was BS from the word go. It isn't really a whole movie, but instead a movie comprised of a number of movie shorts...yeah whose bright idea was this? I was wondering how all the characters seemed to have their own storyline in the trailer, it's because they do. Unfortunately for this movie, none of the individual story lines relate to each other, or make any sense for that matter. I have no idea why these talented actors/actresses felt the need to even be involved in this project. This comedy failed to make me laugh, but succeeded at disgusting me and having me feel uncomfortable. Some of the shorts were very inappropriate to be considered comedy...smh.

I honestly don't think any adult with sense will find this movie amusing, unless you're high. This movie is suited more for teenage boys, and that's because they will laugh at anything. Women don't even bother. You will likely find yourself walking out of the theatre before the credits have a chance to roll. I can't recommend this movie for anything but a practical joke to give to someone you hate...F!

  2. Thanks Bobby! No I didn't get the chance to see Hansel & Gretel, but I heard it was worth seeing. I regret spending my money to see Movie 43 instead of Hansel & Gretel :(. Did you get the chance to see it?
